Goals to handle overwhelm.
“OMG, it’s actually happening and I’m actually making progress towards my COVER FITNESS MODEL goal, my thriving online business. I’m actually working with people on making it all happen. It’s actually happening! I’m actually doing it! When will I get the time to manage all that stuff? How will I do all that I got to do to make my goals happen?!”
I got an email from a talent agency asking me to come in for a meeting tomorrow. I got it after they saw my pictures and watched my videos.
I had a meeting with social media marketing expert and got a take-away list of things I need to work on, to change and to do.
I got a YES from the best male fitness model in NYC, who has quite a life story and experience to share. Yes, to appear on my podcast.
I’m working on my online product and got great ideas and feedback about where it all will go.
I’m coaching and training people to get their best health and body ever to live their life to the fullest: maximize personal energy to maximize personal impact.
I started to enjoy making my videos and social media marketing always thinking about how I can make it better instead of worrying about how I look or sound.
I got really great ideas about for blog for the next month and more.
How do I make it all happen?
I have no doubts it will move my career, impact and financial abundance into the right direction. Now I just got to figure out how to make it all happen without burning out and having time to live life, having time to breathe.
Now I get to practice my mindfulness flying through all the kaleidoscope of things happening without losing my mind, sense of direction, quality of my work and myself — great I’ve been working on that skill for a couple of decades.
I realized I couldn’t spend another day as usual going through the same routine, waking up as usual and rushing through all my to-dos and appointments without taking some time off to re-think my strategy, adjust my plans, to fit in and work on all the important.
I needed to take a deep breath.
Go for a walk.
Think about it all — what is really important, what my priorities and values are, what projects I want to move forward, where I invest my energy for the best work, most impact, most value and most outcome — meaning, value, connections, finances.
I had to stop running.
I need a bird’s eye view perspective before getting back to work and details.
Zoom out before zooming in.
That’s how I spent my morning.
I scheduled the rest of the week making sure the most important gets done and I have time for life and breathing.
I made all the calls, replied to all the emails and messages that were important.
I can see it all clear now — what I’m doing and why.
The amount of work didn’t get smaller. The space got bigger.
Now get back to work.
Actions, actions, actions…
Blogs, videos, podcast, training and coaching people and myself, leaving time to read and be creative, to connect with people and life.
I woke up later today. Slept in. 5.30 AM. Mostly because I was too busy thinking till late. Feeling that I had to change something.
Life is pretty damn amazing.
Perfect in its imperfections.
Balanced, harmonious and chaotic at the same time.
Life needs mess and management.
There is time to take it all in, to try it all, and there is time to manage what’s important, so you are flying towards something, so you feel the direction and progress. And meaning.
Feeling overwhelmed with all the good stuff coming into your life, stuff that you get to do finally?
Take a deep breath.
Zoom out and get some perspective.
Make a road map. Make a plan.
Check your priorities and values, your goals, your dreams, your resolutions (Good I made all this planning and 2016 year recapping in my journal before it all started happening. Keeps me on track.)
Take actions, being your best, giving your all.
You don’t get healthy and stay healthy.
