Life of commitment.
“Maybe it’s time to chill? Take a break? To quit? To get some regular job with regular hours and just go with the flow, do what everyone else does? Get a job? Marry some nice guy and live a comfortable life for a while?”
My brain is always looking for ways to save energy, to get into some comfortable place where everything is familiar, more or less predictable and … incredibly boring, meaningless and definitely NOT exciting.
It’s brain’s job — look for ways to save energy, to keep you safe and comfortable, so fuck it, let it say whatever it wants to say, it’s not what my heart and spirit says and wants.
Settling for comfort and easy way out would kill me faster than any extreme sport can.
I don’t have it all figure out yet in my life (When does anyone have it all figured out?). I have issues to work on. My career is suspended in weightlessness, not quite taking off, not quite failing completely. My finances — I’m making just enough to keep going at the moment (BUT, I got better at setting priorities and realized how little I need for life, even in New York city. I learned how privileged we are to live in the western society, how much resources the city has when you get resourceful — cities are so abundant!) I’m now learning to balance what I love doing, hobbies, career with money making, learning how to monetize my skills and creativity, learning to compromise between “Hell yeah, I want to do that!” and “Heh, that’s ok, but it pays the bills so I’ll do a great job anyway!” I’m learning to build honest, giving, open, no BS, no fear relationships, when you are not afraid to have uncomfortable conversations and say it as it is, when you are not afraid to be vulnerable and show what’s on your mind and in your heart, what motivates your actions and what you are ok and not ok with — life is so much better and easier this way, maybe a bit less fantasy-like, but it feels much more satisfying, much deeper and much more engaging.
I don’t have it all figured out and I have no guarantees that what I do right now will work out.
But I CAN guarantee I will not stop, until I make my life work.
I’ll change, I’ll learn, I’ll adapt — I’m committed.
The time of our life will pass anyway. Whether we commit to something challenging, exciting and true to our soul or not, whether we take on the challenge or decide to avoid it our whole life. The time will pass anyway, what you gonna do with it?
WHAT YOU GONNA DO WITH IT?
Extraordinary, exciting, life-changing and mind-blowing doesn’t just happen — you go for it, you grab it and don’t let it go till you live it!
Claim your extraordinary life with actions! Daily actions!
Any time your brain starts wobbling coming up with some weird shit — hit it with massive actions and it WILL shut up, it has to save energy after all.
The time WILL pass anyway.
WHAT YOU GONNA DO WITH IT?!
On the side note, I’m putting alpha version of my first big project (that has a big potential). It’s gonna be so me! And I totally believe it can be very useful to many people, the ones who are ready to commit. I don’t do babysitting anymore.
“What is Lean Body Checklist?
It’s a 30-day journal of your body and health transformation in a checklist style.
It’s a list of 13 items, that you do or don’t. A list of items, that you check off the list for 30 days.
13 actions, that you repeat for 30 days to change your lifestyle and habits into healthy ones. 13 habits, that will guarantee your long-lasting health, abundant energy daily, transformed lean and sexy body for life.
My goal with Lean Body Checklist is to give you a simple no-brainer system to follow to get the results you seek — health and, obviously, lean body — without excessive thinking, reading, decision making, that can eat up all your energy, time and enthusiasm faster than you can type a status update.
Who has the time and energy to figure out all this health/diet/training stuff on top of all the things we all got to do already — work, family, career, holidays, vacations, friends, studying …?”
You don’t get healthy and stay healthy.
HEALTH is a DAILY PRACTICE. One bite at a time.
