Plants are after you to kill you.
Your not-so-friendly “healthy” foods.

When I got this email from Peter Diamandis announcing the webinar with the author of the book “The Plant Paradox” — I knew I got to read that book right then!

Peter Diamandis, the founder of International Space University, XPrize, Human Longevity, Inc., who counts among his dear friends Tony Robbins, Elon Musk and Richard Branson, dedicated with every fiber of his soul to exponential human progress, space exploration, longevity, Peter is not a guy, who will talk just about any unscientific fad diet, talk about it, interview the author, MD, and change 80% of his diet to reap the benefits of maximum health span and longevity. Peter learned about Dr. Steven Gundry, the author of “The Plant Paradox” from Tony Robbins himself — the most dedicated to human performance man on the whole planet.
When you hear that kind of people talking about “new” diet — you got to listen, if you are interested in staying healthy, fit and young for long. So I did. I read the book and realized, that I’ve “stumbled upon” the same diet by experimenting with my diet for almost 2 decades now (thanks to my Vitiligo, that I cured, and other life “adventures”).
I want you to take away, remember and act on just one thing.
PLANTS ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS
Plants were not “created” for humans to be eaten, nor they are our friends. Plants, just like any other living things, “want” to live and procreate, want as many as possible of their own species to survive. Plants were on the plant long before any animal was, they evolved for millions of years before us and gave us the opportunity to survive on this planet we call home, but they by no means are happy about being eaten. Because plants can’t run away and fight actively for life, they fight for life by creating anti-nutrients, or poisons, to make the animals, humans among them, eating them, become sick and malfunctioning, and hopefully dying sooner, or at least not procreating that abundantly.
Ever been poisoned by mushrooms? Know someone who’s been poisoned eating plants that were not “designed” for human consumption? Or were not cooked properly?
What if I told you, that some plants, like your favorite “healthy” quinoa, oats, buckwheat, and, of course, wheat, barley, rye, almost any grain actually, do poison you every time you try to eat them? They don’t kill you right away, it takes years actually for most, but they little by little make you fatter, increase inflammation and all related diseases, promote cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cause brain fog, auto immune conditions and list goes on, and on, and on… and on. And in the end, we die sicker and weaker than ever before in human history (excess sugar and all the pollution, inactive toxic lifestyle doesn’t make it better of course).
What if I told you also, that fruit “wants” you to eat, and eat, and eat, not worrying about you getting fatter and sicker, hacking your brain and digestive system with sweet and lovable fructose to spread around as many seeds as possible?

And not all plants are deadly poisonous, some of them are actually ok, and some poisons we can remove, if we care enough to learn proper cooking, instead of making it all faster, tastier, cheaper, if we care enough to do proper research, using all the amazing devices, tech and tests available now, if we care enough to stop treating food like an industry dedicated to increasing profits and start treating it as industry dedicated to maximizing human health, performance and longevity.
And if you think that all animal foods are better — think again! If an animal eats all those poisonous plants, the worst of them (soy, grains, corn, all the GMO) before being eaten by you, you’ll get all the poisons, plus disease promoting agents added to the animal feed (like antibiotics and arsenic), and toxins, produced by sick animals.

Now, you might say, what’s left to eat? Sugar is toxic, plants want to kill us and animal protein makes us older increasing inflammation and certain hormones, what’s left to eat?
As I started to think about it, I realized, that we shouldn’t be surprised by the fact, that human diet, like any diet of most animals, is very specific and limited — there is a small number of kinds of foods that are suitable of any given species. Yes, we humans are different, because we learned how to cook, how to unlock nutrients and remove poisons from our foods, or lessen them, but we also forgot a lot of it (a lot of “old school” cooking methods our grandmothers used), we thought it was obsolete, not needed, we can make it faster and better. Well, we did, gradually decreasing our health span in the process. As a result we live longer! But sicker. We also didn’t do much, when it comes to improving the QUALITY of our food supply through proper cultivating techniques and cooking methods, we worked mostly on improving the quantity of food, the price of food production and the taste of food, the variety of food and food like products.
Maybe it’s time to do something different?
I believe, that as intelligent beings, we need to learn better and stop being religious about food, start treating it as what it’s meant to be — fuel for life, not as pure entertainment!
I also believe that food can be delicious and nutritious, if we are smart about it, if we forget about profits as a driving force of our food supply and remember, that food is our nourishment, and we HAVE to create and cultivate the foods and products that ARE actually good for us, not just fast, tasty and cheap.
